As one of healthcare’s largest data aggregators, Prodigo is in the unique position to aggregate data from manufacturers, GS1 GDSN and 3rd party content sources; providing health systems a single gateway to improve data quality.
Within healthcare, there is increased demand for item attributes, classification and device identifiers to help improve traceability and cost capture. Item onboarding is a manual process for master data teams to source standardized item descriptors, UNSPSC and map supporting metadata like expense codes, charge codes that are required to build the item in the ERP Item Master and clinical systems.
Prodigo sources data on behalf of its customer community to provide maximum coverage for the items they are required to manage. Through partnerships with manufacturers, Prodigo continues to acquire new item metadata, item identifiers, descriptions, classification and digital assets like images, MSDS and Instruction for Use documents. Providing accurate and enriched data enhances the user experience while improving the accuracy and completeness of data across the supply chain and clinical enterprise.
